360 Boat Lifts offers reliable pneumatic controllers designed to elevate the performance of free-floating air float boat lifts, including models from HydroHoist®, Guardian, and HydroGuard™ Marine. With over 15 years of product expertise, our boat lift controller range is engineered for ease, safety, and convenience, ensuring fast, smooth lift operations. We also offer robust customer support to guide you through troubleshooting and technicalities. With support for boat lift bunk bracket adjustments and controller calibration, we are here to make sure you get the most out of your boat lift remote control performance.

Built to Last

Crafted with corrosion-resistant metals, the air manifold and operating valves of our boat controller range are optimized for rapid raise-and-lower times while maintaining exceptional durability. Our boat lifts also come with features like blower motor for boat lift, remote control for boat lift, or optional solar powered remote control boat lift and wireless boat lift control options.

Versatile Models for Enhanced Control

  • Four-Valve Version: Provides bow-to-stern and port-to-starboard angle control.
  • Five-Valve Version: Adds auxiliary tank control aft of the center of buoyancy for increased lift capacity.
  • Six-Valve Version: Includes additional auxiliary tank control forward of the center of buoyancy for maximum lift capability.

Safety Features You Can Count On

Our boat lift control box include an integrated Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) for added safety, conveniently located on the rear base plate for easy reset and testing. (Note: GFCIs do not protect against power surges; always unplug the controller when not in use or when MONITOR mode is off to avoid damage.)

Battery Backup for Loss of Power During Operations

Every controller now includes a battery backup system, ensuring valves close securely in the event of a power loss. This feature stabilizes the lift until it can be safely lowered or power is restored. With battery backup, you can confidently lower your boat even during outages, providing peace of mind and uninterrupted safety.

Manual MONITOR

Introducing the new ‘MONITOR’ function! This advanced feature, only available on Guardian/360 Boat Lifts controllers, ensures optimal performance by automatically adding air to all tanks daily, keeping them consistently full. It also continuously monitors the lift’s angle—front-to-back, side-to-side, or a combination of both—and activates the controller to level the lift whenever it exceeds the manufacturer’s preset angle.

Note: The daily blower activation is synchronized with the MONITOR function. When MONITOR is activated (e.g., in the afternoon), the blower will run at the same time each day until deactivated or interrupted by a power outage—ensuring quiet operation to avoid disturbing your neighbors.

UP

  • Activates the blower and closes the vent or lollipop valve for efficient operation.
  • Opens valve(s) to fill tanks with air, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Continuously monitors the boat lift’s angle—front-to-back, side-to-side, or a combination—to maintain balance.
  • Automatically opens and closes valves as the lift rises, maintaining the ‘user-selected’ level for precise control.

Note: The ‘UP’ function must be manually stopped by pressing ‘STOP’ when the lift is fully raised (indicated by air bubbles from all tanks).

DOWN

  • Opens valve(s) to vent air from the tanks.
  • Continuously monitors the boat lift’s angle—front-to-back, side-to-side, or a combination—to maintain balance.
  • Automatically opens and closes valves as the lift lowers, maintaining the ‘user-selected’ level for precise control.

Note: The ‘DOWN’ function must be manually stopped by pressing ‘STOP’ when the lift is fully down (indicated by no more air venting.

INDICATOR LIGHTS

  • Port Forward Valve Open

  • Port Aft Valve Open

  • In “Manual” mode when lit. In “Monitor” mode when flashing.

  • User defined “Level” when lit green

    • Slow flashing green when out of level by more than two degrees (2°)
    • Fast flashing green when out of level by more than five degrees (5°)
    • Slow flashing red when out of level by more than eight degrees (8°)
  • Sensor normal when lit green

  • Sensor error condition when lit red.
    • NOTE: Automatic operation and Monitor not available when sensor lit red.
  • Starboard Forward Valve Open

  • Starboard Aft Valve Open

  • Power available to controller.

    • NOTE: Will not be illuminated if controller GFCI has tripped.
  • Auxiliary Tank Valve Open (four (4) and five (5) valve models only)

  • Onboard 9-volt battery needs to be replaced when lit.

Safety Features

  • Level sensor input monitors the free-floating lifts angle when raising and will auto stop if the angle front to back, side to side or combination of both is exceeds approximately eight degrees (8°) .   This features stops raising the lift if a mooring line gets caught, a tank is not getting air, part of the lift gets stuck under the dock, etc.
  • Although the National Electric Code (NEC) requires a GFCI at the power source on the dock, an additional GFCI is provided integral to the controller and accessible for reset and test on the rear base plate.

NOTE:  GFCIs do not provide surge protection.   Controllers should be unplugged when not in use OR when MONITOR mode is not being utilized.   OPENING the breaker at the power source only opens the “hot” lead.  The neutral and ground remain connected.  Under this condition surges can still damage the controller.
